Hi this is my first time posting here. I have a default judgment (No Answer) and I have asked the Sheriff's Office to lien on a bank account. The account was closed. My Question is what next? Can I hire a detective to find the debtor's assets and place of work? Should I ask for an info subpoena and arrest warrent if he does not answer, and can I get an info subpoena enforced if the case is in Special Civil Part? If I do find out where he works or his social what info would I need for a wage garnishment? Any help would be great, thanks.

Take a look at this file http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/prose/10282_collect_money_jdgmnt.pdf

This is published by the NJ courts and explains how to collect a judgment. You have to have adobe reader or acrobat to view the file. Let me know if this helps you.
