Just to update who ever was interested, thank you Eagle. She is out . She tried to get another apartment paying $350 more to this guy until I warned him. Now she is out that apartment also. She is really scum.
Question. We filed in court to recoup some money. Can we get her pension check garnished. She gets SS and pension and I believe even unemployment. I know we can not attach the SS check but what about pension from the company she worked for?

Yes, it is possible to have a pension garnished. You should file a suit against her for any potential cause of action so you can get a judgment against her. You can sue her for fraud (if she made any false statements to you), danage to the apartment and any money she owes you as well as money she caused you to lose by not being able to rent the apartment in a timely manner. Once you get a judgment you have 10 years to collect.

WE have two people filing. One for all the back rent and security ect. Another one that was damn fool enough to help her with furniture.
