My wife and mother-in-law were in my car and they were rear ended. I have zero threshold on my policy so I know I have no limitation on making a law suit.
What I don't know is if my mother-in-law can seek damages under my policy with zero threshold?
She doesn't live with us and she doesn't have her own insurance. Her husband who lives with her has his own insurance policy but for some reason she is not listed on her husbands policy as a driver nor a resident of his household.
Who should pick her bills up, my insurance company, the at-fault drivers policy or her husbands policy that she's not listed on?
Also, her husband has verbal threshold on his policy, can she sue for damages being that I'm the only one with zero threshold?
