Three months ago I hired an attorney to file for a divorce from my husband of 30 years. She was given her retainer, and I met with her several times, had phone conversations with her, and filled out countless forms. She promised me a day in court to at least receive some support, but this was put off time and time again. But nothing was ever done, my husband never paid any bills or gave me any money to live on during this time. I had a falling out with the lawyer and found another one. I just found out now that SHE NEVER FILED FOR THE DIVORCE -- and this has given my husband a lot of time to transfer and hide money and assets, which I know he did!
What do I do? Do I have any recourse?
