7:25-2.4 Consume or possess alcoholic beverage on WMA

is this a misdemeanor in nj? how long will it show on a pre-employment back round check?
it happened almost 2 years ago and i paid the ticket on time. i was not arrested just given the ticket.

7:25-2.4 is an administrative regulation, not a state statute. The offense is more civil in nature and therefore I doubt this is a misdameanor or petty disorderly offense and I doubt this would be in your record.
