I believe there is a way to get your child support adjusted to reflect your current income. You should call the Family part of the superior court and ask them for information. they are usually very helpful. Just tell the judge that you are looking for a job but it is a very tough job market. I don't see any reason why you should tell him about your citizenship unless he asks which is unlikely.
