Deposit Return

I was stayed a condo in the NJ. After my lease over I vacated the condo. But the owner sold the condo. He is not return my deposit money. When I called him many times. But he never returned money for more than 2 months now.

Last week he send a mail with a letter saying I attached the money order deposit. But I haven't find any money order in that mail. He is really trying to cheat me with empty mail.....

I need legal advice please...........

The law requires the landlord to return your security deposit within 30 days. At this point you should file a lawsuit in small claims court to get your money back. Don't wait.
