You may want to look at the Monmouth County Bar Association webpage and click on "lawyer referral"

kc, thanks for the response, i did email the contact as the online form has a sending issue.

i was hopeful to make contact with someone who has actually had dealings with an attorney who is prominent in asbury park municipal court.

it has been my experience when there are options to penalties having the local good guy on your side is more helpful than an attorney who floats in and out of many courts

You are right, it is always better to find someone familiar with the court you will have to deal with. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone in that area - I don't even know anyone in that area of practice.

kc, thanks again. i did receive a reply from the service and will spend tomorrow morning on the phone trying to sort out "who's who" in the asbury defence pool....

any thoughts to this issue i have?

i was pulled over for a headlight being out.

as it turns out i had a warrent out for non payment of a past ticket (2007). i was not aware that there was any money due

i paid the amount due immediately and was given a document "New Jersey Recognizance with waiver of extradition" and was sent on my way.

this document has a court date set with it.

is there anything i should be concerned with during this new court date, or is this simply a procedural issue? the ticket was for public urination.

my real concern is that i have a business trip the following day and do not want to have any embarrasing issues.
